We awoke bright and early and caught the shuttle to the Ft Lauderdale Airport. We had cut things a bit short, and by the time we cleared a very slow security complete with full body scan – we were headed to Atlanta on Delta Airlines. The first flight was just over an hour, and after another hour layover – we were headed to Seattle.
A little longer flight, then the 2.5 hour drive – taking just enough time to stop at Duty Free. Gotta love Nexus – we were through in 2 minutes.
Home safe and sound and time to get back to reality and planning for Christmas.
