Thursday December 2 - Presentation & Shopping

Today was a busy day – we both slept in, but woke up in time to stop in the lobby Starbuck’s for breakfast then we were on our way. One of the motivations for this trip was the great rate we got for our accommodation. In exchange – yes you guessed it – we had to sit through a (90 minute) Time Share presentation. After 3 hours and despite Said’s best presentation skills, and the value of the offer, we were able to resist.
In exchange we got two tickets to Epcot Centre for use later this week. Heading back to Orlando – the Outlet Centre called. We shared a salad and sandwich and a Bud lite lime each (we could get used to these), then checked out the photo place. Here we purchased a better head set for Skype and also an amplifier for my close up lens. The Canon guys were great and we had lots of fun with them.
Then it was time for Barbara to hit the dress shops, for her Christmas dress. First couple of stores were not very exciting, but the Dress Barn yielded the perfect outfit for the company party. Then over to Nike to find Harry a new pair of walking shoes.
By then it was after 4, so we stopped for tea and time to plan the balance of our trip and our day. At the vacation place we picked up a coupon for the Boston Lobster feast. Harry enjoyed a wonderful Filet while Barbara really enjoyed a feast of Lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters and a few vegetables. A great dinner and lots of time to get back to our hotel for the evening, and to prepare for tomorrow.
Sorry – no pictures today – just nothing really worth taking – unless you wanted to see the inside of stores etc. Tomorrow – Epcot Centre.
