Barb started the day with a run along the street outside the resort, but in turning west she quickly found herself on a freeway with lots of traffic, so down to the beach to run along the water's edge. The sand is very deep and soft, so the run soon became a walk. Beautiful and interesting. We learned that there is no swimming in the ocean as the undertow is extremely dangerous.
After a great breakfast we ventured onto the pool deck where Lyle had reserved a bunch of lounge chairs.

Collecting rays and sharing a few laughs occupied the balance of the morning and into the early afternoon. Then one of the restaurants for lunch, then more lazing by the pool.

Lots of time for picture taking and just wandering down to the beach and having a few mojito's, etc etc.

One of the delights was seeing a flock of Pelicans floating on the wind currents.

We have reservations for suppers thanks to Andrew and Kim who were here early and did lots of organizing. We had supper with Lyle and June, Tracy and Rob and Jay in the Italian restaurant. The service was fabulous as was most of the food.
After dinner we gathered around a campfire

to enjoy conversation and a last bit of champagne

and a few other pleasures.
