Wednesday April 21st

A slow start to this morning – some were up and out to go for runs, or work out in the Gym. Soon everyone gathered at the pool – with the exception of Tracey and Rob and Doris and Herm who took the day to head off to the Todos Santos. (here are some of Tracey's Pictures) is a small town which is full of art galleries and jewelry stores, and the famous Hotel California a great time and returned in lots of time for supper.

After lunch ten of us headed by cab into the town of San Jose. There some of us were commandeered by a young woman who introduced herself as a Canadian – but sounded more like an American. She recommended that we stop for a drink and meal at the closest restaurant. A number of us accommodated and had a delightful short stop for a beer. After a brief stay we all headed out for shopping and exploring this delightful community. While shopping we ran into four more of our group that had decided to walk rather than drive. It is about a 4 KM trek each way.

As we gathered back at the same restaurant for two for one beer – we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant deck we were sitting in was part of a beautiful old hotel some beautiful features.

Once back at the Barcelo – we were greeted by James and Claire who had arrived earlier in the day.

For dinner we broke up into a number of groups and headed to the various restaurants. Harry and Barb were with Tracey and Rob at the Steak House Restaurant – La Hacienda. After dinner we joined the rest of the group at the Sports Bar to watch the Canucks win the 4th game in the series. Much cheering resulted, then the group moved out to enjoy some time together – while others turned in after a very busy and enjoyable day.
