European Kaleidoscope - May 24 - June 8, 2010

On Monday May 24th we departed from Canada. Tannis was off the ground first, leaving Regina then later joining a number of our group in Toronto. That group includes Elsie, Jean and Norman from Newfoundland and Sidney, Audrey, Jo-Anne, Linda and Molly from Ontario.

Our hosts Barb and Harry left with Pat, Cathy, Dorothy, Elsie, Kay, Helen, Ruth, Margaret and Sandra from Vancouver. The group from Vancouver will arrive last but we are all headed for a grand meeting at Arrivals area in Terminal 1 of the Frankfurt airport we will meet our guide for our wonderful adventure through Europe. Paul and Henriette left Canada a little later so will catch up to us at our hotel after a train ride from Frankfurt.

As we are arriving early in the day we will take some time to do a bit of sight seeing around the town of Worms to see the Reformation Monument and have a lunch break. This will give us the opportunity to feed ourselves as we wish on an individual basis. Perhaps our first taste of German beer.

Then—on to our hotel—the Ramada Hotel Neustadt for a relaxing rest of the day
